ATTENTION!!! Plans are now firm for our Fall meeting! Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 28. The meeting will be held at the Little Creek Casino Resort, a few miles south of Shelton, Washington. After lunch, we'll tour the kilns and sawmill at Sierra-Pacific in Shelton. PLEASE...RSVP for the meeting no later than September 17 so we have an accurate head count for lunch.
Speakers include Walt Williams of Smithco, who will discuss everything you need to know about maintaining and adjusting fans. Mike Milota of Wood Moisture Solutions will discuss the secrets of getting steam energy into a coil, and Dick Phillips (Sierra-Pacific, retired) will discuss maintenance and troubleshooting of steam traps. Harry Estlow (never quite retired) will manage a Q&A session, and Steve Stoner of Sierra-Pacific will tell us about the Shelton Mill and what we'll be seeing.
A block of hotel rooms is reserved for folks arriving Friday the 27th. The special rate for that block of rooms expires September 9, after which rooms may still be available but at the regular rate. An email is being sent to those on our mailing list with reservation details. If you don't receive an email and would like to attend, contact Steve Carroll at the phone number or email address shown on the Contact Us page.
